Well, it is 11:30 PM on 1/20 in Guangzhou and we survived a very LOOONNG 24 hours of flights and layovers. We were in the air 21 of those hours. We are very tired to say the least. Briley was a real good flyer--she was very entertained with the activities she took in her travel bag. She slept most of the flight from Toyko to Guangzhou. In Toyko, she woke up on the flight after only 2 hours of sleep and trucked right through the Toyko airport pulling her wheelie bag behind her. What amazed me about this was that it was 3:00 AM in the morning our time. Right now we are staying at the Novotel hotel right near the airport. It is beautiful and has only been open for 2 weeks. The people working here are so friendly. Two cute little ladies met us at the airport holding a sign that said: "Debra Rupp, Robert Leon Rupp". (No Beth, I didn't have my camera out to take a photo of them!) I did take a photo of them at the hotel with Briley later though, but no sign. I wanted to post that photo, but the internet connection in this hotel has all my blogger icons in Chinese and I can't figure out how to do it! They took us to the hotel which was only about a 3 minute drive. On this long drive, we got complimentary water and a towel to wash up with! The Chinese have already started to pamper us.
Tomorrow I will meet Teagan for the first time. I can't believe the wait for her is now down to 17 hours, give or take. We will see her soon. I will post pictures hopefully tomorrow!~Debbie

Just wondered if you've tried to send any e-mails. We checked around 2:00 p.m. today (Saturday) and haven't seen anything yet.
Glad to see you all made it but disappointed that you did not get that picture!! Looking forward to pictures tomorrow.
