Ni Hao! Tuesday is almost over and we are heading closer to coming home. I am ready--if I stay here much longer, I think I may grow broke from buying so many things! Teagan has had a rough 2 days. She is having trouble keeping anything down. She either throws it back up or it comes out the other end. We have gone through a lot of outfits. I have resorted back to the Chinese formula and stopped the formula I brought along all together. Tonight she finally kept down some rice cereal mixed with the Chinese formula. I have been giving her pedialyte too although she doesn't like it that much. I may need to see the doctor soon after coming home to see what is going on with Teagan. She really doesn't seem to care about any of the food I have given her so far. She doesn't beg or act like she wants more. Today I had to stay in my room while Peter went to the American consulate appointment for me. He called at noon and said my paperwork was in order. Tomorrow we go to the Swearing in Ceremony and Teagan will then have an American Visa. This afternoon Briley wanted to go for a boat ride so we took the Ferry across the Pearl River. It cost 2 yuan for mom, dad, Briley, and me to cross (about 35 cents). There were many Chinese on board, bike and all. On the other side of the River, we found a park that Briley and Clare played on. On that side of the River, the Chinese really looked us over. Apparently not many Americans go to that side very often. Mom and I did more shopping this afternoon. (Stacie we got you a purse for only 160 dollars--you can try to figure out the cost in American money. Mom and I got one too!) I also got 6 very current DVD's for around $10 total! This evening we ate dinner at Lucy's as usual and now to the blogg and then to bed. Anybody want DVD's or purses, let us know (Cars, Rocky Balboa, Narnia, Pirate of the Caribbean, Ice Age, Shaggy Dog, Santa Clause 3, Happy Feet, Madagastar, The Holiday)
Selling sugar cane on the street. A Chinese lady was eating sugar cane on the ferry beside me. She kept spitting it out at my feet and almost spit it into Teagan's stroller.

I hope Teagan is feeling better and keeping things down and in. If not, maybe a trip to the Dr. might be a good idea before the long plane ride home.
What a wonderful adventure you all have had. You have a beautiful family. Linnea loves checking on Briley when we come home from work. I cheat and check in in the morning!
If you can get another DVD of Happy Feet I would like one, actually Linnea would LOVE one.

Debbie-what a beautiful baby picture. Are you sure that beautiful little girl is not feeling well, she looks fine to me! I hope that Teagan is feeling a little better before your flight but sounds like you have her figured out. Sure looks like Briley is having fun, is she ready to come home too? Not too much longer and we can all meet your daughter and you can sleep in your own bed again!
Hi Debbie and to all the other Rupp's; Sorry to hear about Teagen but I'am sure you will be able to get a hand on it. She sure does look good and Briley seems to be enjoying herself. Hey tell Marlene don't spend all her money in China the garage sales will start and with her out of money that puts more presure on me to NEGOCIATE!! Hi Rupp's!!
School is cancelled!!! YEAH!! The Board cancelled too!! It is Jim's birthday today and historically school is cancelled or delayed on his birthday every year. I accuse him of rigging it but he says he would rather NOT have to get up at 4:30am on his birthday to test the roads. We can't wait for you to get home...so excited to see your trip to a safe end and to meet the newest Rupp-ster. I talked to Sherry last night....she is so funny!! She had some interesting stories to tell...will fill you in. I hope you are able to get over your jet lag in time for Weds. night......in case you have forgotten it is the return of LOST!!!! I am still bitter but I think I have put that aside and I can again begin to figure out the mystery that never ends. America Idol has been fun to watch this season too. They seem to have exhausted the small percentage of Americans who actually have talent and the FREAK show has begun.
My dad was discharged from the hospital last night. He is doing well in the important areas but still very weak....too weak in my opinion. They have a visiting nurse coming over daily to check on him and that makes me feel a little better....healing just takes time I guess. Thanks again for the prayers.
Make sure you lay out specifics for the return flight home...I am sure there are several of us wanting to meet you at the airport since we will then need to leave you alone for a few days of adjusting to the time, etc.
Miss you TONS!! I need a friday night patio talk like never before....too bad the weather may interfer with that for a few months!!

Sorry to hear about Teagan not feeling well, Debbie. By the looks of the pictures though she doesn't look the slightest bit under the weather, she's absolutely beautiful!!! I can't wait to see her in person. I'm glad you'll be heading home soon, as I'm sure you all are too, ready to come home!
TV Update: Deal or No Deal, the man that was on last night started out Great, well then things went downhill, he played till the last two cases and ended up with $10,000. I guess greed took over!
Weather: Cold, (a low of 4 degrees tonight) wintery and all schools are cancelled today!

I sure hope Teagan gets feeling better. Maybe a trip to the Dr. before the plane ride might not be a bad idea. I sure have enjoyed the pictures and the messages you have sent to us. It is almost like you are not very far away. We are looking foward to seeing you home and in Fulton County again. Schools canceled cold and snowey. HI Debbie! Teagan's picture is awesome. Peggy and I were commenting on how cute she is and Briley looks like she is having the time of her life! It is soo neat she can visit her country of birth. I know with all the pictures it will make memories alive for her. We had screenings last night. Didn't get out till 7! There were 3 possible keepers, we'll see. SNOW DAY TODAY YIPEE!! We had to have at least one with Reva in Florida!

Your daughters are two beautiful girls! Can't wait to meet Teagan and to see you and Briley again.
