Teagan's Gotcha Day
Four years ago today, Fu Ni Jing was removed from her familiar Chinese foster home and handed over to me to become my youngest daughter through adoption.
The transformation from Orphan to Little Sister (Mei Mei) was complete as Teagan became a part of our lives forever!
She went from living the life style of a Chinese foster child, to living with an American family and being exposed to posing for a million and one photos. She seemed to grow and change overnight.
Four years later, she has come a long way. She's smart, witty, hyper, stubborn, my helper, and in need of consistent routines. She loves going to tap dance, Sunday School, and Preschool. She loves to play on the computer, swim, ride bike, and terrorize her big sister. She loves eating anything sweet. She's my Teagan and she's perfect. Happy Gotcha, Teagan Mei Jing!
