This photo was taken shortly after Teagan was placed in my arms. They had to check my passport to see if I was getting the right baby. As you can see, Teagan is not happy. She was crying even before they gave her to me. She was missing her foster mother alot. These 3 photos are a few of her those first few days. The ones in the striped sweater was the first morning with her. As you can see in her eyes, she was very sad. The one in the middle was later in the week when she just didn't feel well with the change in formula and baby food.
And now, here is Teagan one year later. She has grown and changed so much. Now she eats ALL the time and sleeps like a log! The photo above was taken Sunday after church with the flowers that I put on the church alter to celebrate one year with her.
This photo was taken this morning with the Panda I gave Teagan. Every year for Gotcha Day, I have given Briley something from China and I will do the same for Teagan.
This morning to celebrate, we went to Splash Bay in Maumee--it's the new water park that just opened. At first Teagan was very scared of all the water shooting everywhere and it was quite cold in there at first. But eventally, she opened up and really liked the water. I just had to keep her away from where the water was flying all over. She loved the hot tub!
Happy Gotcha Day, Teagan. You have come a long way this past year! Mommy loves you!
