Briley's Kindergarten class had a wedding today to celebrate the Union of Mr. Q and Miss U. Briley was selected to be the Bride, Miss U and Kenyon Lovins was the Groom, Mr. Q. It was such a cute little ceremony!
Here is the Bride and Groom after the ceremony. They are now the "Qu" family! Below is the happy couple taking their vows. Briley had to promise to be "Quiet" to Mr. Q and she promised to stay together with Mr. Q in the alphabet as long as she is a letter person. Mr. Q had to promise to treat Miss U as his "Queen" and to take her on a vacation.
The wedding ended with a happy HUG! There were Ushers taking us to our seats, Groomsmen, Brides maids, a Ring bearer and a Flower girl. The flower girl dropped little Q's and U's on the floor as she walked. The ring bearer presented the rings--A spider ring for the groom and a daisy ring for the bride. The users rolled out the white runner for the bridal party to walk on. There was cake and punch after to celebrate.
Briley's veil kept falling off, but she did so well and was just too cute. What a neat idea for the children to remember that words with Q must always have a U. I had a flash forward to Briley in 20 years--I'm not ready for the real thing for sure!!
Here is the whole class before the ceremony. Briley was so excited for today--she has talked about being the Bride for a couple of weeks now. This coming May, she gets to be the Flower Girl for Kayleigh Friess' wedding so today got her a little prepared for a real wedding she will participate in this Spring. Enjoy the photos!~Debbie

oh wow, just too much! and as you say, the next 20 years will just flash by!! I wonder if we will still be here to watch the happenings.
