Today was Teagan's Ohio Adoption. The proceedings took place with Judge Bumb residing. He actually remembered me from Briley's adoption in 2003. The ceremony took all of 10 minutes and now Teagan is officially registered in the state of Ohio and will be issued an American Birth Certificate. This was one of the last things I needed to do for Teagan to make everything official with her adoption. Next week I need to meet with her social worker one more time to complete my final post-placement report for China that is due 12 months after placement. Then, everything will finally be completed!!

Once complete, we (My lawyer, Tim Hallet and Judge Bumb) all posed for this photo and then Teagan could go home for a much needed nap!

Debbie and the girls......
So much has happened to all of you in the last 12 months. It is difficult to realize it all. And how different all of your lives are, since Teagan has joined your family. She is very special to Grampa and Gramma and cousins, to say nothing of all the Aunties and Unkles. Your pictures and Blog have kept us informed and we truly appreciate it.
Hugs to you and the girls, it has been a fun and very enjoy 12 months, watching from the sidelines.
