Briley's Little Accident and Preschool Graduation

Briley officially can ride her bike without training wheels! Her new bike's training wheels were very cheap plastic and they quickly bent up when she rode the bike. So, we took the metal training wheels off of her smaller bike and put them on her bigger bike. That left her small bike without training wheels. Briley is always up for a challenge and she started showing more interest in riding her smaller bike Without training wheels. In just a short time, she was riding the small bike and doing well. So, one thing lead to another, and we took the training wheels off of her big bike. She had a more difficult time controling the bigger bike and sure enough took a pretty bad fall. Just as I was yelling at her down the sidewalk to "SLOW DOWN", her front wheel stated wobbling and over the handle bars she flew! She scraped up her face and nose pretty good. She also get a bloody nose. The next day she was back to riding her smaller bike and just today (one week later) is riding her big bike again. She is quite a resilient little girl!Briley didn't want me to take her picture with her face like this, so I told her to look mad and mean. I did get her permission to put this picture on the blog. She said it was ok.
Briley's preschool graduation was Friday, May 18th. Her Preschool Year went by so quickly. She loved going to Preschool very much and will really miss it. They had the children march in to the Graduation March. I fought back the tears the whole time. I can't believe she is already 5 and will start Kindergarten. The teacher asked them one at a time what their favorite part of preschool was and Briley answered, "Snack Time!".

And, I had to put a photo of Teagan on. She is still Teagan--getting more and more ornery every day. She hates being told "no" and will have mini temper tantrums already. I think she is going to be a very determined little girl! She is cruising along furniture now and getting closer to taking her first step. Her birthday is less than 2 weeks away.
