Another Update on Teagan

I received another update on Teagan which was signed 12/12/2006 by the foster care director of the orphanage, so this is the latest on how she is doing. It lists her measurements--Weight: 8Kg (just over 17 pounds), Height: 69 cm, 2 Teeth on the bottom (this is new!), Foot size: 10.5 cm. She can sit alone (kind of advanced for 6.5 months) and turn over (roll). She reaches for toys and looks for missing toys (great cognitive skill!). She laughs a lot and recognizes the person she knows. She is afraid of strangers (this is not good for her transition to me). She says "Ma Ma" and understands the facial expressions of adults. She is still eating often and early in the morning (again not good for me!). She eats at 5:00 AM, 8 AM, 12 Noon, 3 PM, 6PM, 10 PM, and 2 AM. She is eating milk, cereal, rice milk which is her staple food, and she also eats steamed eggs, meat broth, and "cakes and so on" (exact wording on the growth report). It says she loves to eat sweets! I wonder how much "cakes and so on" they are feeding her? I can't believe my daughter already has a sweet tooth!! No wonder she already weighs over 17 pounds. Her naps have changed also--she now naps 2 times a day for 2 hours each nap. Her favorite toy is listed as "rocking bells". I told my mom she will someday play in the bell choir at chruch with her! It also says she loves to be outside.
We are still waiting on our TA--Travel Approval. I hope we hear soon when we will be able to go and get Teagan.
