Another soccer season has come and gone. This year, both the girls played soccer for our local parks and rec. Teagan played Kindergarten soccer while Briley played with other third and fourth graders. Both teams were co-ed.

I had to spent my time between their two soccer fields as they played all their games at the same time. I felt torn wanting to watch each of them play their entire game. My parents were able to also spilt their time between the two fields so the girls always had someone they knew watching their game.

Briley scored her first goal this year. So proud of her! I missed it :(

This being Teagan's first year, I didn't know what to expect of her. I should have known that she would catch on quickly, often times telling her team mates which way to kick the ball! And, with her competitive spirit, she was actually one of the best ones on her team.

Her coach always wanted her on offense as she often was in control of the ball charging down the field. The ball would be in a pack of kids and then Teagan would find a way to get the ball in the clear.

No goals for Teagan this year, but I think there will be some in her future.

More photos of Briley.

Love this one below with the look on her face.

Teagan's wish came true on her last game, when she finally coaxed her coach to let her be the goalie. She put on the super huge goalie t-shirt and they never scored a goal on her. She even caught a ball in the air that almost knocked her off her feet!

Teagan clearing the ball out of her goal area.

Even though it was a wet season, the girls enjoyed soccer. If only I could be two places at once, it would have been perfect!

Your girls look like pros! You should be very proud of them for playing on co-ed teams, boys can be so aggressive. I've been in your shoes - running between games or having them back to back. Luckily my girls play different sports, so I can enjoy both of them (at different times) play!
