Snow Days
Now that the winter snow has melted, I have finally found time to update my blog with Snow Pictures. They are just too cute not to share. The girls enjoyed all the snow we had this winter. I was so glad I bought a snow blower this year to clean out my new driveway since it is so much bigger than at my old house...and, because we had record amounts of snow this year!
I took the girls sledding to Homecoming Hill a couple times this year. With each year, they get more brave and go higher on the hill. This year they even went down the steepest part of the hill, but only just one time. They went down together and wiped out at the bottom of the hill. After that, they decided it was steep enough on the sides!
With the fun of sliding down the hill, comes the hard climb back up the hill. Teagan found out using the sled as leverage helped her climb back up easier.
Briley always climbed back up with a smile on her face.
This winter brought with it a new back yard to explore. We have some great trees in the yard and the girls found one they could climb. It is not actually on our property, but just about 5 feet behind our yard. It would make a great tree house tree.
We also have a large evergreen tree that acts like a huge umbrella. The girls have had fun playing underneath its branches. It was so pretty covered in a blanket of snow.
Teagan made snow angels all over the yard one day...silly girl!
What winter wouldn't be complete without a traditional snowball fight? I helped Teagan throw the snow at Briley. I think she lost!
What do you think?
Here was Teagan after the fight...love her rosy cheeks.
