Way Behind in Blogging...
I have been quite busy lately. With school starting so does all the extra activities. We have soccer two nights a week, Teagan is in tap dance classes one night a week, and Briley started back to Church choir. We have something every night of the week. With home work, packing lunches, and keeping up with the cooking and cleaning, I am quite busy. If you keep reading, you will see that I will only be getting busier...check out the photo at the end of this post to find out.
We had great weather for the fair this year. Briley entered some crafts for the first time this year. She won a blue ribbon on her horse latch hook wall hanging! She was very excited and won $4 for the blue ribbon. She also got a 3rd place ribbon on her pot holder, and a 3rd place on her beaded necklace and bracelet set. Way to go, Briley!
We took in most of the animal shows and spent a lot of time in the 4-H areas. Next year Briley will be old enough to take an animal. She keeps saying she wants a goat, but she also wants a rabbit. I hope to talk her into just a rabbit for her first year. We will see!
Of course, the girls had to take in all the fun fair rides and attractions. Teagan begged every day to do something. She loved the jump house and riding on the pony.
Briley was more into big thrills and loved the bungee jump thing she does every year. This year, she was able to do two continuous back flips at one time. She also could do a forward flip.
The girls thought it was cool to be able to sit in a tractor tire.

What adorable girls you have... what a lovely life! I just love seeing the kids grow up! Even though it is way too fast! :) I love seeing the bonds and love in them. Thanks for stopping by our blog!
And Yay on the new house! how exciting!
A friend just told us about the children's zoo in FW! I think we may just have to go there sometime... maybe next summer! I enjoyed seeing your pictures!

Just saw your blog and wanted to let you know that I too am a single mom of a Chinese daughter, do a lot of work with the Help Me Grow program and live in central Ohio! I'd be interested in knowing how it is to have two daughters as a single mom - now that mine has been home a year I am starting to thing about a sister...
