We went to Fort Wayne to their Children's Zoo last week. This is a zoo I have wanted to go to, but have never found the time. This was a very nice, small Zoo that offered a lot of different activities than our local zoo offers. We still love Toledo, but this zoo was cool too. This was our third zoo this summer--we love going to zoos!

One thing that Teagan enjoyed was being able to climb right into the water fountains and play in the water. There also was a mist area that they could cool off in as well.

The boat ride was in the Australia Section. There also was an African Section, a Tropical Rain forest, and a Farm area.

On the Walk About in Australia, there were Kangaroos all over. We walked on a red dirt path.

Briley was smitten with this goat and petted and hugged on it for quite a while. Teagan went from goat to goat and brushed their coats.

There are peacocks walking all over the zoo. Briley tried getting close to this one!

The zoo advertises pony rides. Well, when Briley saw they also had horses, she begged to ride one. The horses were so trained, they walked on the trail with no one leading them. Briley thought it was so cool to ride a horse all by herself.

Teagan could have rode on a pony, but given the choice, she jumped on the biggest horse she could find!

The zoo also advertises being able to feed their giraffes by hand. Briley couldn't wait to feed a giraffe.

We had fun at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo!
