Teagan turned 4 on May 27th. She has grown up so much in just the last few days!
Teagan wanted a Dora Birthday cake. Teagan's instructions for my cousin Mindy (who made the cake) were that it had to have Dora on it, her name and the number 4. I think Mindy did a good job.
Teagan's party wasn't until today, but since her birthday was actually on Thursday, I let her open one gift on her birthday. On Friday, we went to Perrysburg to get her pictures taken. There was a Claire's at the Mall and I asked Teagan if she wanted her ears pierced. This is something I ask her every time we are at a Mall--Teagan's reply
always was: "When I get bigger!" Well, Teagan is now 4 years old...her reply this time was: "Yes, because now I am 4!" Don't her earrings look pretty? She didn't cry at all either...just like a big girl!
We celebrate Teagan's birthday at my parent's pond every Memorial Day. It has been so hot. that the pond has warmed up quite quickly this year. The girls got some swim time in today, but then the sky grew dark just as it was time for Teagan's party.
So, the party had to be moved indoors into Grandpa's Garage. Teagan didn't care...she had her Dora cake and her presents.
She loved everything she opened...this is the look of pure joy!

and you are such a BIG girl now!
