Our family has a new addition! We would like to introduce Zoey. 
Zoey is an 8 week old Maltese Shih Tzu mix. And, my girls are in Puppy Love!
Briley has been beggin for a puppy for quite a while. I told her that we would get a puppy after we sold the house. Well, since our house isn't moving, I decided to make Brileys' wishes come true and get a puppy now.
Zoey is just a little fluff ball. She wags her tail and her whole bottom sways. She followed the girls all around the yard this afternoon. She is really cute!
Teagan wants to hold her all the time. I have to keep an eye on Teagan as I am concerned that she may not be gentle enough, drop her or step on her. Zoey only weighs a couple of pounds.
So far so good. She has gone potty every time we take her outside and she doesn't cry when we put her in the crate. Hopefully she will be easy to train.

Congratulations on your new puppy. She is adorable!! We have 2 Lhasa Apsos (11 and 9 years old), Here is a hint start brushing Zoey's hair now. I did this with both of the dogs and they have never fussed about being brushed.
