Briley started the second grade today. She was very excited to begin another school year. It's hard to believe she is already a second grader. This is her last year in the Primary building for children in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Two fingers for the second grade. Our biggest dilemna this first morning was what shoes to wear. Briley had gym today and she is supposed to wear tennis shoes. She wanted to wear her green flip flops to match her green apple skirt. I didn't want her to pack the tennis shoes being the first day and all and having so many other things to take to school. Briley finally agreed that it was best to wear the tennis shoes this first day. Tomorrow...I am sure she will be wearing flip flops!

A perfect back-to-school first impression with that backpack and outfit! Very fashionable.
Briley looks adorable! My girlies have PE everyday . . . as long as they wear rubber soled shoes they are good to go. I get less lip from them during the school year since they are in uniforms and and can only wear certain types of shoes (no flip-flops) - otherwise I'm sure we'd be struggling a lot
