With 12 inches of snow on the ground, the girls had a lot of fun. They played Saturday afternoon while I snapped photos and shoveled out my driveway.

Teagan was so excited to be in the snow and make snow angels. She wanted to make a snowman too, but the snow wasn't good packing snow.

Briley was finally feeling better after spending 3 days on the couch with fevers and upset stomach. She loves the snow and was trying to throw this big snow ball at me--she missed!

Today after church, the girls talked me into taking them sledding. We went to Homecoming Hill. It was the first time I have ever taken them there. I have always heard how fast the hill was and that kids get hurt easily. I figured for sure, my kids would be the ones getting run over. But, today we were brave and we gave it a shot. We didn't go to the top of the hill--we just stayed on the sides. That was high and fast enough for my girls.

They both loved the hill. I wasn't sure if Teagan would be able to make it back up the hill, but she was a trooper. She figured out how to do it and never once complained about the climb back up. She fell a couple of time, but as soon as she got back to the top of the hill, she was ready for another ride back down.

One time back up the hill, Briley grabbed Teagan's hand and helped her up the hill. They looked so sweet holding hands climbing back up the hill.

Below is Briley going down by herself--she usually made it up the hill faster than Teagan and then would ride down alone. Notice her mouth is wide open--yelling all the way down!

After sledding, we went to my parents' home and the girls played on a big pile of snow there for a long time too.

Teagan was trying to make a snow man. Look how red her little cheeks are!

Briley was wet from head to toe...she had a blast and I am so glad she is feeling better.

Here is a video of the girls going down the hill. I used my camera video feature and when I zoom in to see them at the bottom of the hill, it gets blury for some reason...sorry about that.
