Mother's Day

Mother's Day...a day for mother's to take a break and relax. Yah, right! There is no relaxing when you are a single mother of 2 little ones. These past 15 months with Teagan have had a lot of ups and downs. This past week was one of downs as Teagan was sick and not a happy girl. I started feeling under the weather too which makes for 2 grumpy people in the house. This Mother's Day especially, I need to think about all the happy times with Teagan and Briley. They have brought my life much joy. Before I know it, they will be grown ladies and onto other chapters of their lives.


So, When thinking of what to post on the blog, I decided to think of the things the girls do that make me smile. We do laugh alot! One instant happened this past weekend. The girls are still in their pajamas, but it was too cute. Briley posed Teagan and attempted to do a portrait of her. Here is Briley sitting on the couch drawing Teagan. The photo below is how Briley posed Teagan. Teagan actually held this pose for about 5 minutes with her hand on her hip and the other one on the chair. Here is Briley's portrait of Teagan. I think she did a good job! She especially captured her big red lips! Teagan could be a lip model and apparently Briley thinks so too!Happy Mother's Day!
