This summer is really going fast. Teagan is doing well--she is walking all over the place now and really getting into things! She is so much fun! She has found the toilet--I found her rings from the ring stacker floating the other day!
Briley participated in a 2 week program at Leggett St. School for children entering Kindergarten called "Safety City". She learned so much and really got to know the school she will be attending in the Fall. Here she is at her graduation. She wore a stop sign graduation cap--thumbs up! When I was cleaning the toilet (after removing the rings), Briley played "Safety Patrol" and carefuly removed Teagan and the cat from the bathroom telling them that "Mommy is using poison (for cleaning) so stay away, that is dangerous!"
The girls on the Fourth of July with matching shorts. They are doing so well together as sisters. Teagan tries to do everything Briley is doing. Briley is a great big sister.
Happy Fourth of July!! Teagan actually stayed up for most of the fireworks!
On Friday, July 6, I took Briley to Soak City at Cedar Point in Sandusky. We had a great day playing in the sun and sand of Lake Erie. It was nice to spend some time with just Briley. Soak City is a huge water park with wave pools, water slides, inner tube rivers, etc. The photo below is of Briley and Sarah on the beach making sand castles.
