We had a great Easter. It was nice to take some time off work and be able to spend it at home with my girls. Easter Sunday we went to sun rise service at church and then to my parents for a family dinner.
The girls couldn't wait to paint Easter Eggs. Teagan went at it to try and dye as many as quickly as she could. I had to encouraged her to keep them in the dye longer to make the eggs brighter.
Briley took her time to color her eggs. She would hold one end of the egg in one color of dye and then she would turn the egg over and put it in a different color to make multi-colored eggs.
Briley was disappointed that the bunny costume no longer fit her, so she reluctantly handed down the costume to Teagan to play the role of the Easter bunny. Briley posed Teagan for this picture and put the eggs all around her...too funny.

The girls were excited to find their Easter baskets and see what kind of goodies they got.
Briley was excited to finally get a Zhu Zhu pet.
They then went on a search for hidden eggs in the back yard.
We hope you all had a great Easter too...we did!

Oh my word...you have to link to Briley wearing the Easter Bunny costume...what a hoot. Does the girl wearing it (this year Teagan) get to hide the eggs or what? LOL How fun!! Did you buy all the accessories for that darn zhu zhu pet? You might be sorry you got Briley one... zhu zhu's toys aren't cheap!!
