I have been trying to make a decision if I want to list my house with a realtor or keep it on the market for sale by owner. I guess I am not in a real big hurry if it sells or not. Part of me wants to stay put where I know I can afford what I currently have. The other part of me wants to move on to a bigger home where the girls and I can have more space. But, bigger means more expenses, more work...I'm just not sure if I want to go there or not. It will be one year in April that I put the sign out.
This past week was the first week that the girls began child care at my church. My babysitter of 6 and a half years decided that she no longer was going to babysit. It was very hard to move on from my sitter's home. She was a great sitter and enjoyed the girls and took good care of them. It was so hard to make the decision of a day care center over another home sitter. Teagan had been attending the church's preschool one half day a week. She really liked it there so now after preschool, she stays with the day care kids and has lunch and then takes her nap there. So far, she has adjusted well to the new schedule and really seems to like it. Briley too has enjoyed seeing some of her friends at the church after school. They do activities with the school age children and so far she hasn't been ready to leave most days when I pick her up. This summer they will be able to stay home with the same college girl that stayed with them last summer.
Next week starts Briley's Spring Break from school. She has Wed. through the Monday after Easter off. I too will be able to take off that time from work. I hope we have nice weather and we can go to the Zoo.
Since I usually always post photos, here are a few of the girls. They are a few weeks old, but the most recent I have. I said I haven't taken many photos!

Teagan enjoys helping. She really enjoys licking the beaters when I make a cheese cake!

Ah yes, childcare issues for the single parents...fun isn't it? Sounds like you've got it under control though. I'm glad your church has something for them. My girls are in after school program at their school - it's affliated with a church.
Hope you all have fun during Spring Break, we did!!
Love the photos of your girlies...my girls don't like cheesecake - more for me though!
