Three years ago today, I met Teagan for the first time. She had a rough transition to our family, but we made it through and now Teagan is a happy, healthy and bright 3 year old.

I began thinking about Teagan's foster mother and how hard it must have been to say good bye to Teagan on January 21, 2007. I hadn't sent photos to her in over a year, so I put together a little package to send to her. I had Teagan draw her a picture and she wrote her name and put Kai Lan stickers on the picture. I assembled several photos including one of Teagan as an infant with her Chinese name on it (just so she knew for sure which baby this is). I also had a short note translated to Chinese telling a little about Teagan. I hope it reaches her foster mother and brings a smile to her face.

How quickly those three years have pasted. and how much joy and happiness this little girl has brought to sooooooo many people, especially your entire family and circle of friends.
