Cheater Chopsticks

Briley has always shown an interest in using chop sticks. She can use real chop sticks quite well. We went to the Zoo a couple weeks ago and I found these cute Cheater Chopsticks. I actually saw the kids from the TV show "John and Kate Plus 8" use the same exact chop sticks. When I saw them on the show, I thought they were so cool. Now we have our own pair, and the girls LOVE using them. Briley would usually ask to use her chop sticks when we were eating a Chinese dish at home or in a restaurant. Now, with the cheater chop sticks, she and Teagan ask to use them for MOST meals we eat.
For Teagan, I think they will help her eventally switch to real chop sticks quicker and easier. And, when she doesn't want to eat what I put on her plate, if I let her use the chop sticks, then she will usually eat. It is definately more fun to eat using chop sticks!

Cute - we had a pair of those before - my girlies are pros now - we love to eat Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho) . . . .

Love that picture of Teagan - her expression is priceless.

We still have a pair of those...although Emma has pretty much mastered real chopsticks at this point. They are so cute!

Ha ha. The girls are so cute with their chopsticks. We were in Columbus yesterday and the restaurant we ate had these cheater chopsticks. My nieces used them. It's a clever design. I can see why kids would love these cheater chopsticks...it's a secret way for them to "play" with their food. :)

Ooh, I want a pair for my kids! You'd think that there'd be tons of these in Hong Kong, but I guess they just expect the kids to just be born knowing how to use chopsticks... because all kids here are born knowing how to use them. :p
