Just Like Big Sister

This week at school was Circus Week to celebrate Reading. On Thursday, Briley was to dress up like a clown. Someone had given me this clown costume but Briley never wanted to be a clown for Halloween. I still had it with some other costumes and even though it was a size 2-4, it fit! We came up with the hat idea together, Briley decided on her bunny slippers, and I did her face paint. She looked so cute.
Then, Thursday evening, families could go back to school and read with their children and wear their clown costumes. I wasn't planning on going, but Briley insisted. So, we got her costume back on, paint and all. Well, of course, Teagan had to get in on the clown fun too! So she got her clown face on and all 3 of us went to family reading night!
Since about Christmas, Teagan has really started taking note of what ever Briley is doing. Much to Briley's dismay, Teagan is always where Briley is trying to do the same thing. Some days they play so nice together and other days, not so well!
This photo of my 2 princesses was the first time Briley dressed up her little sister. I was in the kitchen doing the supper dishes and I thought the girls were very quiet for some reason. I went into Briley's bedroom and this is what I saw! Teagan was just standing there like she didn't know what to do with this big bulky dress on. Now, Briley dresses Teagan up all the time and Teagan just loves it!
Briley has quite an imagination and because of that, Teagan will too! The photo below was Briley's idea for sure. She brought her Build A Bear out on a "stretcher" because she said she was in an accident! It was so funny to see Teagan tagging along behind. Teagan does what ever Briley says!
Many evenings with Pajamas on, the girls will have dance time. Here is Briley dipping Teagan! My home is very entertaining to say the least!
When Briley reads books, so does Teagan. Teagan wants to be like Briley. Teagan is growing up so fast. It is hard to believe that she will be 2 in May already. I miss having a baby, but I do look forward to seeing the little girl she will become. With Briley as her big sister, she has a great start! ~Debbie
