Briley was fitted for glasses last night. As she has been telling people, "My left eye is doing all the work!" Her right eye has amblyopia (lazy eye), astigmatism, and is farsighted. She has probably had this condition since birth. We have been fortunate that her right eye hasn't started wandering or turning to the side. In time, the glasses should correct this condition and she won't have to wear them long term. Right now, she has to wear them all the time to "train" her right eye to do more of the work. 
She looks more grown up wearing the glasses and is still as cute as ever! After only wearing them about a hour last night, she had them bent already. I do see many repairs in our future. Teagan thought she needed some glasses too. So here she is wearing her glasses! She has gotten SO very ornery!
On Saturday, we got some children together from the area that have also been adopted from China. The little boy in the high chair is from Guatamala. The kids didn't want to stop playing at McDonald's long enough to pose very well for this photo--my 2 especially! They had fun playing together and the adults had fun sharing adoption stories.
