We are Home!!

We arrived safely in the US yesterday late afternoon. Since coming home, Teagan has needed time to adjust. She needs to keep me in her sight or she is upset. She is checking out her new surroundings, and tonight is doing better with me walking out of the room. She didn't sleep well at all last night--up every 1 to 2 hours. She was up at 1:30AM thinking it was morning, so I did my laundry then. Briley woke up at 3AM and said she was no longer tired. To say the least, we are definately messed up on sleep. I am quite tired, but did manage a few hours of sleep this afternoon that made me feel much better. Briley had a terrible bloody nose this morning and this afternoon she threw up in my parents car. The long flights have taken a toll on her as well. I hope we all get back on a regular schedule real soon. Teagan went to see the doctor this morning. He wants to wait on tests a few weeks--he said she is healthy and just needs time to adjust. She is in the 60th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for her length. The picture of her above is at home with a sign left my our neighbors, The Manson's--thanks for the signs, balloon, flowers and taking care of Mitsey and my home!
Thanks again to everyone for following along my blogg and for leaving such great and supportive comments. I am glad that so many of you read each day and followed our amazing journey to China and back to get Teagan. It truely was a great trip, lack of sleep and all. I am so proud of where Teagan came from and I know she was really loved and cared for in China. I will do my best to be a good mother to her.
Thanks to everyone who came to the airport to see us arrive home--Marilyn and Chris, Joyce, Lonna, Sarah and Emma, Doug, Lisa, Trey and Brady, Betty, Diane, Beth, Andi, Danielle, Clint, Travis, Wil, & Mollie, Judy, Tammy, LuAnn & Sarah (I hope I didn't leave anyone out!). Sarah and Emma, thanks for the signs (I wish I had a photo of them to post them). It was great to see all of you and to introduce you to Teagan. Uncle Rollie, good to see you too in Wauseon. Stop by anytime to see Teagan in person--I'm not going away again for a while!

Debbie, thanks for continueing the web site. We are a long ways away from you and we want to know how you and the girls are doing. We are concerned on how the little one (?) adjusts to down town Wauseon. We were watching the clock at 4:30 on Friday and wondering if you were on home turf, once again. Thanks again, and continue with the web site for just a little longer...
special hugs ^j^ to you and your girls. R & L

Hi Debbie,
I'm so glad you guys are home, but sorry to hear that Teagan isn't sleeping the best for you. Just remember, this to shall pass. I know, everyone is telling you that, but it's so true, it will get better! She's an adorable little girl and I hope Emma is as good of a Big Sister as Briley is! I hope the eggsersaucer is working! Use it as long as you need it. Anything you need, please, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to pick Briley up and have her and Emma play together for a while for you to have some Mommy/Teagan time. Just let me know, I'm here to help! We're praying for you guys!
Love to all,
Sarah
